What's the hair situation with your BP? Who's paying?

I am debating back and forth about this. So far, the most reasonable hairdresser that I can find wants about $60-65 per person.

How are you all handling the hair issue?

i dont care if they get it done or not..but pretty sure all of them will want to
my only request is that they all wear it completely up

I am making my girls pay for their own hair, but I am not forcing them to get it done (even though all of them are). I also am paying for my maid of honors hair that day as an added thank you. I was in a wedding party a few months ago and paid for my own hair and the bride paid for her MOH.

Since I decided I wanted everyone to have their haid done I offered to pay for it.
Well I am getting grief because MOH doesn't want hers done she wanted to do it herself. OK so I offered to pay for make up doesn't want that either. Uggghhh.

I dont care if they have it done or not as long as its not all down and wild. I made this decision because I cant afford to pay for them. I am positive my 3 sisters and my future niece will get it done anyway but my 3 friends are travelling far enough and shelling out a lot because of that so I cant force them to pay for hair too.

I think it is unnecessary for the BMs to get their hair done. But if you want it, then you have to pay for it. You could ask if anyone wants to use and pay for it but be careful not to pressure them into it.

i gave my girls the option to have it done but they paid for it themselves

I am leaving all that up to the girls... if they want to get their hair done thats great... if they wanna do it themselves thats fine too.. I will have a hairdresser at my house so they have the option... but they will have to pay for it on their own... maybe I will pay for my MOH... that's a good idea...

they are paying for thier hair - it is part of being a bridesmaid

I am letting them do what they want. I can't afford to get all their hair done and 2/4 girls don't even care that they are in the party (his sisters) so I am not spending money so they can be sour puss' all day!

I am not paying for their hair/make-up. If they want it done I told them the specifics and they can make their own decision. I am not demanding they have either done. I want them to feel comfortable and do whatever they want. The only thing they have to do is wear the BM dress

We are only having a MOH & i didnt give her a choice whether or not to get her hair & makeup done - she is paying for it herself.

I am offering to pay for both their hair and make-up ( I am not making them do it if they don't want to). It's my present to them.

I am paying for their hair to be done. If they want makeup done, they have to pay for that.

I gave my girls the option to have it done as well but i am paying for their makeup. They all agreed that they want to have their hair done.

they pay for their own hair - you aren't responsible for that. i've been in lots of weddings and never has the bride ever offered to pay for my hair or makeup!

asking them to pay for hair. I will pay for makeup. I think that's fair. I am trying to negotiate with makeup people though - most seem like they will work with me on that at least a little.
Every vendor will go down 10%. If they don't - keep looking. Most of the hair and makeup people are not that well known that they can demand a price and walk away. They want the cash and want to be booked as much as possible

My sister is doing her own (MOH) and I am having my Jr BM's done since she is 10 1/2 and I am not leaving that up to my FI. My FG is 3 so I am assuming my FSIL is doing hers.
