I'm new here...& have a ? about OOT Bags

Hi...I live in Boston but am getting married on LI in Oct. (Originally from LI) About 1/2 the wedding will be coming from OOT. Does anyone have any good 'Long Island' things to put in the OOT bags....

i would suggest maps!!! LI can be very confusing to people that aren't from here... maybe also include information about some attractions by the hotel or some information about stores by your hotel.. you never know when an emergency can happen.. ooops... forgot stockings or shoes at home...

I put in things like: Asprin, Tums, Water, a long island guide book, an itinerary of the weekend events, numbers to reach my or his parents, chocolate, chips, candy, a guide to some things around the hotel, breath mints, life savers, NY postcards, and NY pin...i think that is it.

I had some out of town guests and for most it was the first time visiting NY. In each bag, I had 'I love NY' T-shirts that I bought in the city for 2 dollars each, bottled waters, cookies, candy, and subway maps, LIRR schedule, souvenirs (key chains-NY themed) Everyone loved it!!!
