Question about who can watch our pet...

We are going away July 18-25 and then again on July 31-Aug.8. Unfortunately my parents who live next door cannot watch the cat because they may be in Italy. Problem is we have noone else to watch her. My MIL lives all the way out in commack and her apt. is way tooooo small anyways. Everyone else we know will be away on vacation. Is there some kind of place for animals that we could leave her in while we are away? Some place in queens though cuz that's where we live. If any of you can provide me some information and a phone number I would appreciate it so much.

Have you tried your vet to see if they provide boarding services or they might have some suggestions of people who provide pet sitting services?

My old landlords used to have their pets stay at Barkingham Palace near The North Shore Animal League. Here's their website.

I just called them and it's only for dogs.
