HOUSE UPDATE: What kind of person...
Would paint over a phone jack???!!!!!!!!!!!
so, we hit our first snag, the phone service won;t connect because the moron who painted painted over the phone jack
thank god for the cell

OH please...in my condo we had to replace everything. The painted over
light sockets so bad that you couldn't fit anything in them. Plus door knobs, hinges. If it stood still
they painted over it

my last apartemnt was practically painted shut!
Not the phones jacks, but the doors frames & outlets were a mess!

Just replace the outlets if they were painted over. Not expensive to do. Very cheap actually. Telephone jack is the same thing... just replace the jack.
