Ladies! Need a quick answer to this question
How much did you put down as a deposit for you HM?? FH is going to fix our HM incident from last week (luckily it's only coming out to be $400 more rather than $800 more) and they want a pretty big deposit! Bigger than the other agency. I'm suspicious. What did you guys leave?

Re: Ladies! Need a quick answer to this question
These people want $1500!
Not that we don't have it, but it seems awfully high for a deposit. The other place where our booking fell through only wanted $200!

I think $1500 is alot for a deposit. Why is the deposit so much?

Re: Ladies! Need a quick answer to this question
I left I think $300 to hold the rooms, maybe 400, and had to give another $400 to hold the flights.

Re: Ladies! Need a quick answer to this question
We only had to put down $300. I have never put down as much as $1500 for a trip. Ask exactly what the deposit is holding and make sure that money goes towards the trip.

Re: Ladies! Need a quick answer to this question
We left $400. If they want that much and you have no other choice, leave the deposit on a credit card. At least your credit card co. will fight for you if something happens.

Re: Ladies! Need a quick answer to this question
We had to leave $300 and we had to pay for the trip insurance up front. Thank god we did because we changed our minds about our Honeymoone and we didn't have to pay a thing extra
