Went to wedding at Fox Hollow last night
Hi girls , its been a very long time since Ive been on here. I went to a wedding at the fox hollow and thought you guys might like to hear from a guest point of view.ok well the place is beautiful and the service was great. the only dissapointments with the place were the holes in the linen napkins. The food was delicious, not enough though. If you plan on having more than 215 guest in the room with the garden view its too small. not sure of the name of the room its to the right of the briar fox room. There were 14 to a table very cramped and the tables were filled with so much stuff we didnt even see the bells or camaras on the table till the end of the night when they were cleaning up It was just so jammed. Even in the briar fox room for the cocktail not enough seats and nowhere to move. But all in all the place is beautiful and all Fox Hollow brides will love it.

Well i don't know what garden room you are talking about but if it is the Garden Terrece the room easily hold well over 300 people so i don't think 215 is cramped..Maybe you are talking about the Winter Garden..the one with the fireplace??? And yes 215 would be squashed in there. And that is the weirdest that you said not enough food...I have never heard that before..
Oh well thanks for the review!

Re: Went to wedding at Fox Hollow last night
NO it wasnt the room with the fireplace it was the garden room and Yes it did not hold over 215 very well. This is my 3rd wedding there but the most recent was last night. The portions were very small guess its a matter of choice when deciding the menu. As a matter of fact asking my fiance there were 250 and it was extrememly cramped every single guest at our table complained about the space and the food. Im not not picky but it was important to me to hear how a guest besides myself felt about a place I am considering as well.

That is really strange since the room must guarentee 220 for a sat night wedding...And i went to a wedding that had 230 and it was fine..maybe it was the seating arraingement

Re: Went to wedding at Fox Hollow last night
It must have cause having 14 to a table I felt bad for the end people that had no room. But like I said the place is great. I would still consider them, I would just have them check the napkins lol, guest were shocked by the holes. The food was really tasty too.

Re: Went to wedding at Fox Hollow last night
I went to a wedding there and we were in the same room. They had less then 220 people and we were very cramped. I guess it depends on what kind of tables you have too. We had a lot of people at our tables and we were so squished. When I went there the cocktail hour was outside and most people had to stand because there were not enought seats. It was still a beautiful wedding and the food was great and there was plenty of it. JMO!

Re: Went to wedding at Fox Hollow last night
Thanks for the info! I will DEFINITELY mention the napkins when I make my final payment.I am using the Garden Terrace Room and since I am doing a Sunday wedding, I only had to guarantee 160, and I'll have just about that many.
I also was concerned over the CH space outside, so I had them specify extra seats at the cocktail hour on my contract.
That is the first time though I have ever heard there wasn't enough food!

Re: Went to wedding at Fox Hollow last night
You are going to have a beautiful wedding. the place is really nice and pretty. That was the first time too where I experienced small portions from them. strange. The outside is beautiful too , lots of tulips. I will most likely have my wedding there too.
