Taking pictures before your ceremony?

Anyone taking pictures before your ceremony? My FI & live together so this wasn't an issue but I was worried my makeup, hair & dress might not look as fresh when I get to the ceremony - especially it it's a hot day.

I'd hate to show up/photograph a sweaty, frizzy & runny mess!

Re: Taking pictures before your ceremony?

I am I'm getting married the same day you are, but this year. Hopefully it won't be super humid that day. I figured I don't want to rush and miss my cocktail hour since my reception immiately follows my ceremony.

Re: Taking pictures before your ceremony?

me too. In fact, I have only been to 1 wedding where this didn't happen. Better to look fresh for the photographs than anything else.

Re: Taking pictures before your ceremony?

Same here, we don't want to miss the cocktail hour... Your make up should be fresh, but you can always touch it up with a little powder and lipstick

Re: Taking pictures before your ceremony?

I'm taking pics at a park before the ceremony- the chapel at my Rh is a little tacky, so i wanted pics elsewhere. Could you ask you make up person if you can buy her products to do touch ups later?

Re: Taking pictures before your ceremony?

We are also taking pictures before the ceremony. We were a bit unsure but now I think we will do that- we are getting married at Villa Lombardi's so our cocktail hour is right after the ceremony and we want to be there-

Re: Taking pictures before your ceremony?

We're taking all of our non-together pics beforehand, and our together pics afterwards, during the CH. I think this'll work okay - at least I hope!
