When a vacation is approaching, do you tend to buy a lot of new clothes?

I do! Especially if we are going to a tropical destination, I tend to buy new clothes for our vacation, REGARDLESS of how many other clothes I already have.

I did that last summer, before I put away my winter clothes and unpacked my summer things - and then realized I didn't have enough space in my dresser for all my tank tops (I thought I had none, instead I have more than I can count!)

I do all the time!! I enjoy buying new clothes for a vacation. I think it adds to the excitement of going away.

Any excuse is a good excuse for shopping! I am shopping for the honeymoon already, even though I am 6 mos. away! I figure I should buy summery stuff when they still have tons in the stores...

I do. Last year Danielle and I went to Orlando, and I bought like 12 t shirts and 8 pairs of shorts at the Gap. They were having a huge sale, and I made out like a bandit.

I admit, I have a problem!!!
I am going to Hawaii for our HM and let me tell you how much stuff I have bought! I have to stop! I have begun buying stuff just because so now I have to return a bunch of stuff! Its really getting to be a problem!

And if thats not enough, I am starting a new job and I told my FH that I have to go buy some new clothes b/c I have lost weight and I cant go to a new job with clothes that done fit properly!

The shopping is out of control!!!!!!!!

I'm with you Kathleen...I always go shopping whenever I go away on vacation. It really does add to the excitement of going away.

I am going to Mexico in 3 weeks and I was just out at lunch shopping at Ann Taylor. I usually only buy one or two outfits - unless it was the HM - for that I bought more. This trip, I have only bought 2 pairs of sandals, one pair of white capris and a pink sleeveless shirt - all good deals. I have a ton of stuff from last summer - I feel guilty if I buy too much but ya have to have something new!!
