Sunday WAS my shower!!! Can you believe my bridesmaid forgot..came late..and left within a half and hour!

Everything was great...very overwhelming. My garage looks like Fortunoff threw up LOL

My bridesmaid came and hour and a half late to my party...told me she forgot about it and she has other plans and can't stay long. I am soooo pissed at her. She didn't even stay long enough to eat because her boyfriend was waiting in the lobby for her so they can say hi and then leave. She took her $120 favor gift from my mom and left. Should I say something to her?

My mom gave my girls Armani statues (and she really can't afford them that much so she was really annoyed because she is trying to save so much to make everything perfect)

That was very sweet of your mom.

I would definitely say something to your BM. This is supposed to be one of your close friends. There is no excuse for treatment like that. I'm sorry.

I can't believe the had the audacity to show up at all if she was going to be that late and then just leave. I'm so sorry that happened to you! You should *definitely* say something to her!!! (She should have been apologizing BIG TIME already)

I would def talk to her but don't come out and say you are 'pissed' at her... she may feel you are 'attacking' her... maybe you could sit down w/ her and ask why she couldn't stay and express that you were hurt by that... I am sure she will understand and you two can work things out... she may not realize how important she is to you to be involved in the wedding... good luck

I'd definitely let her know how disappointed you were that she was unable to stay on such an important date for you and share the special moment. I'd also try to find out what kept her from staying. I think by letting her know how important it is for you that your BM share with you all the joy and to have them there for support means a lot to you. This might help her realize how important this is for you if she is taking it lightly and be there for you the way it is supposed to be on your wedding day. And this talk will probably ease tensions and assure she is on time on the big day. Sorry you had to go through that.

I would not say anything--(she knows that she hurt you).......but just find out where she was off in a rush too?

Friends like that go on the back burner...after you are married. You really don't need her!!
