we had our jeweler put a piece of my fiance's great grandmother's engagement ring (which he used to propose with) into the inside of our wedding bands with just a tiny dot visible on the inside. we thought that meant more to us than any words could express.

I have never heard of putting your SS # on either, maybe so you can track it back to you if it gets lost???!!!
"Put it back on" is hysterical!
My ring is very narrow (2.5mm) and a size 4, so I don't have much room. I would rather not just do our initials and our wedding date. I like the idea of using a line from your wedding song...but we still haven't picked a song!!

I'm thinking of "From all angles." And, no, I didn't misspell angels.  FI and I had been dating for just a few weeks and I said, "I love the way you look at this angle," and he blurted out, "I love you from all angles." It was the first time he said he loved me, and I'll always remember it.
