Book Recommendations
With all of the wedding planning and working, I haven't read a good book in over a year. Please recommend your favorites over the past year (including genres) so I can start coming up with a list for the honeymoon. Thanks!

Re: Book Recommendations
Well it really depends what type of book you're looking for. My mom has me reading these Nora Roberts books. They're fairly mindless, but they're an easy read. If you're looking for something more seriou, check out Torey Hayden books. They're written by a teacher who has worked with some severly abused/troubled children. Not exeactly feel good books, but I find them really interesting.

Re: Book Recommendations
I love anything by Jane Green- Jemimah J, Straight Talking, Bookends, etc. They are on the line of Bridget Jones but I think they are even better!
I also second the Davinci Code! Absolutley amazing!
I am planning to take Harry Potter 4 & 5 on my honeymoon so if you haven't read them, I recommend that series!

Re: Book Recommendations
Definitely the Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I also read Retribution by Jilliane Hoffman (legal) and My Sister's Keeper (younger sister wants medical emancipation from her parents) by Jodi Picoult.

Re: Book Recommendations
Here's a list of the last few books that I've read and enjoyed:
The Birth of Venus: sooo good. Art historical fiction. Takes place 15th century florence.
The Virgin Blue: Written by the same author as Girl with a Pearl Earring.
The Da Vinci Code (similarly, by Dan Brown: Angels and Demons, Digital fortress) All of his book are exactly the same, but they are fun to read.
Harry Potter: If you haven't read any, you have to read them. The books are so great.
