Places in Nassau County to take pics?
I know that this has been done before, but when I do a search, there aren't many...My ceremony is in Cedarhurst and reception at Leonards, I was looking for somewhere inbetween to take pics (somewhere free also!
) The only place I know of is the gazebo in Garden City..(has anyone else been there? What do you think?)Please give me some suggestions! TIA!

Are you looking for an indoor or outdoor place? Im not sure what the park is called, but it has such nice scenery. Its on Northern Blvd across the street from the Macy Manhasset store. It's about 5 minutes away for leonards. You should really check it out!!

I'm not tto familiar with the area, but I know we're going to be taking pictures at the Planting Fields. My hall told me about it and I've heard good things from other girls here.

I would like an outdoor..but also it is November, so someplace that isn't going to be all dead flowers, just some grass and trees would be fine I guess...I really don't know what to expect in November

There's a park on the corner of Mill Road and Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream...I think it's called Mill Pond Park. They have a pond with a fountain and gazebo with a footbridge...it's cute. I saw a sign that said Valley Stream residents only, but I'm not sure how they would even know????

Have you thought about the grounds of the American Merchant Marine Museum in Great Neck? It's right on the Long Island Sound and housed in a historical building--I think, I went there once when I was five. Its ten minutes away from Northern Blvd and Leonards.

Eisenhower Park??
I remember when I went on a tour at Hofstra, the guide saying something about the grounds are actually considered an arboretum, b/c of all the types of trees, they have preserved there. Some of them have labels too.
I was thinking Eisenhower park.
My church is near Cantiage Park, but I don't remember that being scenic? Does anyone know?
I told my limo company we werne't going anywhere for pics, but I can change that, right?
