Did anyone go for their makeup trial the day of your engagement pics?

I was just curious if this would be a good idea or not. If you did not, did you look washed out in the pics? Thanks

I was wondering the same thing. The engagement pics I have seen so far are lovely.

I got my makeup done at Mac at Macys in Herald Square on the day of my engagement shots. I am not considering using them for my wedding. It didn't cost me a thing- I called the day before and made an appointment. Ibought a few things, but the guy who did my makeup didn't put any pressure on me.

My photographer is suggesting that I do. He won't do our pics until a month or two before the wedding so we can see our skin tone as close to the wedding day as possible and I can see how my makeup will look so that there is no shock when you get you expensive pics back from the wedding and see that you shouldhave worn a different lipstick!
