help with centerpiece idea
Okay, my friend gave me this great idea for a centerpiece and I would like o do it on half my tables....
BUt here is my question, if I make these and they are lit right before the reception begins, do I have to worry about the candles burning down and igniting the ribbon????
That would not be pretty!!!!
Do they make really slow burning candles????
Help?

Re: help with centerpiece idea
I believe you have to either get thicker candles than those in the picture, or tie the ribbon closer to the bottom of the candle. If anything, why don't you put it to the test? Light one up, and see how long it takes to burn.
Btw, I like ur centerpiece idea... spread with rose petals would be perfect!
Also, what are the other half of your centerpieces. Great option.

Re: help with centerpiece idea
I liked this idea also. See if you can get candles that take at least 15+ hours to burn, tie the ribbon below the half line.
As for making them, you can tie them together anytime. When you take them to the reception hall leave instructions and a pic so they know how to set it up for you. Tell them to light them right before the guests are seated for dinner
