Any '05 Ladies start doing hair/makeup trials?

I am DYING to start, but it might be too soon....I was just wondering if anyone has begun searching for hair/makeup......

I want to, but a lot of people I called will only do it 6-8 months before, so thats July-August for me, some of you may want to find out too about that because I called 4-5 people and none of them would book a trial sooner...

Not yet- I am actually inquiring about this now. I was looking at Oksana's website- Wow!! I am impressed. Do you know if she does hair too?

I am excited and would like to start too but I want to wait at least a year or closer to the wedding so I know what I will look like with a tan in the summer and I need to grow my hair for the updo. Right now I am just cutting out pictures in bridal magz to show the hairdresser and want to get my veil and tiara and jewelry first. I want the complete look for the trial. I am planning to go to a recommended hairdresser in Huntington my sister says she is really good. I'll let you know or if you want to go before hand I can send you the information. Are you close to suffolk county?

I heard that JN books up months in advance, so I really have to start moving.

No I havent done any trials yet but I called Fairytales (or something like that) and she was booked already. And JN said she didnt even have a 2005 appointment book yet. I am going to wait until about 8 months before the wedding.

I may have one in June. Not sure yet. But I am definitely looking to start them this summer.

Yes I had mine, the main reason I wanted to do it, is I'm not a major sun person so whatever sun I have from the previous summer, is basically all gone, so I figured if I have near the time of my wedding next year, I'd get a better idea of what I will look like, just hopefully a bit thinner..lol

I honestly think you can have them anytime, if you are having a summer 2005 wedding, then think about having one over the summer.

As for my hair trial, I am from NYC, I haven't moved out to LI yet, and probably won't at this point until late fall/early winter, so I wanted to find someone who had a full service salon ( I am prematurly gray) so the few months before the wedding I could go for my hair maintance.

All and all everyone is different, I couldnt wait, it was something fun to do to keep me in the wedding spirit since I still have a year, my advice is wait until the wedding planning blahs hit ya, and this could be a good pick me up

I had my makeup done by Oksana and my hair done by my Hairdresser- Danielle from Hairspray. I had it done for my Engagement party so I it wouldn't be a waste.
