MOB dress/colors

My girls' dresses are powder blue on top and different shades of blue on bottom. My mom wants to wear a red outfit
Is there a standard of what the mom is supposed to wear? She's always been an 'individual' who rarely follows the rules, it matters to me but it's not the end of the world. ANy ideas???

i thought the MOB and FMIL can wear anything they want.. i never heard of picking for them until i was on here
they are wearing black to match my BM's
and i am having a black and white wedidng

i guess for pictures they should blend or look good tomorrow

it might look like red, white and blue!

I don't know who came up w/ the rule about the Mothers matching the bridal party - They can wear whatever they want. - and as far as 'matching' for pictures. - i personally think that's ridiculous ! - who cares what color someone is wearing ? - let your mom be herself, wear her RED and feel great about herself -
