Whose doing VOTIVE candle placecards??

I'm running into a little difficulty...mine are slightly thicker at the top...I would've never known, but when I wrapped the vellum around, it overlaps higher on the top. Anyone else have this problem???

What do I do??

Do a search on here. I know someone did them and even had a website with step by step instructions. I will try and find it for you. We are having ours made by Laura at LA Productions.

I made them for my wedding. All the votives are different sizes so you can precut them you have to just do each one individually. I would stick one side down on the tape and while holding the other half tightly around the votive just snip off the access with small thin scissors and stick on. the should match up perfectly.

sorry hon - we did then but differently - we apinted the votives white and then used ribbon to attach the names on paper to them!!

maybe a search would help!!!

I wanna see...

my friend made these as well and they looked awesome all on the table when everyone walked in... she arranged them so when everyone walked in and the candles were lit they looked like a star....

I cut the vellum to size, then wrapped it around the votive. Where there was a little bit of overlap on the top, I took a pencil and traced a line around the inside of the vellum (around the rim of the votive). Then I unwrapped the vellum and cut across that line.
