MOB dress is almost same color as BM dress.....

....is that bad. She was worried because it is just a shade darker than the BM dresses and thought maybe it should be different. The dress looks great on her and I thought it was nice that the colors were similar. It actually think it makes it look like we planned it that way. Any thoughts??

I think as long as she feels beautiful in her dress and you are fine with it, then it's fine!! The MOB is not really in any pictures with the BP except for sister's anyway so it won't look odd in pictures if that's what she is thinking.

my moms dress was VERY close to the BM's, but it wasn't planned and it looked very nice! we didn't have any pics with my mom and BM's at same time so it didn't matter.

my fmil's dress is one shade off from mine! so i wouldn't worry about it. as long as she is happy, you should be happy. generally there is always an issue with clashing so you have the perfect scenerio!

I don't think it matters, considering you said it is not the same color, she'll look beautiful no matter what color she's in.

I think as long as it doesn't bother you that the colors are similar - then that is all that matters. I would also double check with your FMIL to make sure that she will not be offended that your mom kind of matches the girls, thinking that she was left out a little????

I think it will be fine.. I don't think anyone will notice.. they'll eyes will only be on you that day.. just dont mention it to anyone so they can make a point to look at the dresses!

Nothing is wrong with that. My Bm's are in black and so is my mother. She is like one of my BM's anyway so it did not matter to me if she was in the same color
