May 14th Wedding Review (now with a few pics!) Wedding & Honeymoon

Majestic Gardens-A+++++++++++++++++++ Well, all I have to say is WOW! We had an excellent time! Everything was so sureal, I can't believe it is over! We had a fantastic wedding! The hall was magnificent. The food was delicious, the ceremony was beautifully setup infront of the fountain, just like I imagined! (I missed cocktail hour) FH and I stayed in the bridal suite to regroup ourselves and let it sink in for a little while! My bridal attendant was fantastic. She brought us food into the bridal suite, so we could at least eat some of the food at cocktail hour. We also got an iced vodka ice sclupture, that I totally forgot about, until she brought some shots back for the two of us!

The reception was fantastic too! The food was delicious, and t hey made up a sample plate of each of the dishes for FH to have! (I only like chicken, but it was GREAT!) Everyone kept raving, how they go around and ask you if you would like seconds! The cake came out just like the picture! It was beautiful and they di d a great job decorating it. We had extra roses left over from the cake, so she put rosepetals on all the tables. I don't know what else to say, it was EXCELLENT!

Get In Tune A+++++++++++++++++++ They played all the songs that we requested, and everyone was on the dancefloor all night! To tell you the truth, I was so crazy going around to say hello to everyone, I didn't get to dance as much as I would have liked to. But the music was great, and they did exactly what we wanted.

M & V Limos B There was only one mishap of the evening. We got the 35 passanger luxury bus and a 12 passenger Lincoln for the parents. The cars were great, very clean and they brought us where we needed to be on time! When they came to pick us up by the end of the night to drive everyone home. The lincoln miraculasely turnied into a lexus! Well, I didn't drive in it, but from what I heard from the parents, it was much smaller and nothing worked! Then the driver tried to get an extra $100 because it was a more expensive car! My Mother in Law, put up a big stink and refused! Thankfully! There was no way we were going to pay that money! Because it was a different driver, he didn't even know where to go! My Step-Mother had to give him directions! And you know that 20% gratuity that you are required to pay in your contract. Well we found out a few days before that that doesn't go to the drivers. When we signed the contract, we specifically asked if that was the drivers tip! ie.....gratuity--websters dictionary's defenit ion of gratuity is tip for service! So we tipped the drivers at the end of the night $50 each. but I wish I gave the $50 to the original driver of the LINCOLN, not the end of the night driver with the lexus!

They made up for it though, we had a free ride to the airport, which was great! and they picked us up from the airport. We had to pay for the pickup, but it was great, we got a bigger car that expected and he was early! (It's a good thing too, because our flight came in early!) And he got us home quick!

Cantor Harris Cohen A+++++++++++++++++++++ What can I say, the ceremony was terrific! He cracked a few jokes, made everyone laugh and did the ceremony excactly like we wanted!

Jim Lowe-Ceremony/Cocktail Hour Music A+++++++++++++++++++ To tell you the truth, everthing was so sureal during the ceremony, that I didn't hear anything but FH, myself and the Cantor! But during the unity candle, I do remember hearing the song that we requested! He was on time and he played during cocktail hour too. (I will have to let you know how that goes after I talk to some people that were there!) We were hiding away in the bridal suite! Unfortnately neigher FH nor I got to see him and didn't pay him! We called the next day to appologize, I feel so bad. We will be sending him a check ASAP!

ADA Studios A+ Tony was great! I guess I can't give a full review until I see the proofs. But he was nice and early, and I think he got some really good pics. We had a huge wedding party, and I think between him and his assistant, they handled all those people very well! I will let you know more when we get the proofs!

Couped-Up Productions.....Video A+ Again, I can't give a full review until I see the video, but they were there when we pulled up in t he limos and were there until the end of the night! Rob Coupe is my brothers friend from high school..(he does all the editing) and Nelson was the videographer. I have seen their past work and it is wonderful, so I am expecting nothing less than perfect f rom them!

Angel Eyes Makeup-Denise A+ Wow, I loved my makeup! She did exactly what I wanted and It looked great! She arrived on time and did a terrific job!

Paradise Bridals B- My dress and alterations were great, except I wasn't happy wi th the bustle. I had them take a few bustlepoints off, so the dress would flow nicely. The bridesmaid dresses came in early, and we only had a problem with the maid of honor's top. They ordered the wrong one! :( The alterations for a few of the girls didn't go so good! Like they didn't do them when they had to come back for a second and third fitting!

Flower by Rosemarie A++++++++++++ Well what can I say, she is my aunt! She did a superb job! My aunt did all the bouquets and alter arrangements, th ey came out perfect! Just like I pictured them! My cousin did all the boutonnieres and coursages, they too came out amazing! My mother and I made all the centerpieces. I was very happy with them. They came out much better than I had pictured in my head! T he quality of the flowers was wonderful also!

Wyndham-Aruba A++++++++++++++ I loved it! Our honeymoon was all I dreamed of! They Wyndham resort in aruba was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the service is excellent! I definately recommend th is hotel to anyone who is going to Aruba!
