Ladies with detachable trains.. when are you taking it off?

Saw a thread about bustles and wondered when am I gonna take mine off?

It's a good length. I *know* I don't want to walk around and trip on it or get it stepped on. I like the idea of a loop for a first dance that the bustle girls mentioned. I wonder if they'll alter to add that.

Thinking of removing it for the cocktail hour and putting it back on for intro and dance.

Anyone else?

ETA: first dance only then I'd remove it.

I have a detachable royal cathedral train. I will be taking it off right after my first dance.

I have a cathedral length and fingertip view. I am taking off the cathedral right after the church.

Finger tip I will leave on for the reception.

Im not sure because my train wraps around the whole entire dress. I liked the idea because it looks like a different dress when I take it off.. I love both of the looks.. So not sure yet
