DUET & 12th NIGHT Brides...

We are going to see both of them wednesday night and were wondering if anyone could give us an idea of their prices and also what their payment structure is like, I read that Duet's final payment is due the day of, I'm not too comfortable with that...any input would be so helpful...thanks in advance

We booked duet and i just pulled out my contract so i can give you the correct information! with all these vendors its hard to keep track of when to pay who!!
Our promotion package was $3699.00. We added $800.00 because we got their 'designer edition album' which is basically their version of the 'soho book'. so with tax and all it came out to $4892.00 You have to leave 20% at booking. the second payment, 30%, is due 3 months before your wedding. The day of the wedding 40% is due. The balance, the remaining 10%, is due when you pick up your proofs from them.

It does say something about tip/service charges 10%. I dont think that is included with the quote that i got, i have to ask about it.

I did change the package a little bit....

2-classic parents albums 5x7: 24 for parents

all proofs with proof box (guarantee min 400-500)

I can give you 12th Nights tomorrow, I have their pricelist downstairs. For the package we are going to get it is $2200 for two photographers (one for 10 hours, one for 5), printed proofs, negatives, and all digital photos on a DVD. Albums are taken care of afterwards so its a little cheaper up front although I think in the end they may turn out to be slightly more expensive than most places.

We went to Duet as well, their prices are great but we personally weren't impresed with their pictures.

Thank you both very much, the information was really helpful, I'm excited to go see both studios because I've heard nothing but good things about them...Duet seems to give you an awful lot for the price and I like the idea of picking out my albums and such afterwards like 12th NIGHT does, DECISIONS DECISIONS!!...thanks again

12th Night has a 1/3rd deposit when you get the contract. Another 1/3 right before the wedding and I am not sure when the last third is due. Their prices are amazing!! I didn't know how we were going to afford one photographer, and with them we are actually getting two!! I had my engagement shots already and they came out amazing. I really am a fan of 12th Night!

When I booked with Duet we had to give 30% of the total, then another 30% is due 3 months before the wedding and then 30% the day of the wedding and the rest when you pick out your albums/pick up your proofs. (I am pretty sure about this)

Go to the search button directly above you and add those key words to it. You will see a ton of information on Duet. We just had our casual day photo shoot with them which I would strongly recommend as it gave us a chance to get to know our photographer and videographer before our wedding. We love them!
