Re: color scheme question...WITH VOTE

I'd go w/ the Ivory- very elegant and you have the pink contrast in the BM dresses. White is kind of plain.

JMO, I think introducing ivory would look odd ... but just my opinion!

Can you explain (or show) the BM dresses? I think the pink & white on them is why it seems off to me ...

Re: color scheme question...WITH VOTE

It depends on the look you want to acheive.
I presoanlly don't need everything to match.

My dress is pretty much the only thing that will be white.
The linens, place cards, programs, table #cards & invitaions will be ivory.

My Bm's are wearing Cranberry, but there won't be much other cranberry. Right now I am thinking berries in their bouquets, and maybe some burgundy flowers in the centerpiecs & mixed with orangs) & burgendy ribbon on te h favors, which will be wrapped in ivory.Orange will be the other promonent color, but just because I like it.

If you want your theme to be pink & white, then yes, go for as many pink & white things & you can.

Re: color scheme question...WITH VOTE

ivory might look dirty against a white dress plus nobody will have the invitation and hold it up to the linens to see if it matches.

pink would be very cute too.

Re: color scheme question...WITH VOTE

I voted for other. I would do a pink. I love the look in any form of decor where you use a 'highlight' color.

Re: color scheme question...WITH VOTE

aww, I'm sorry.we're not really helping. . . we're trying though.Your linens should be the same color as your chair covers if you chose ivory or white.

What do your centerpeices & bouquets look like?

That's what I would say, ithink but it looks like I am in the minority now.

If you were going to do anything ivory, i wold make it the programs & menus ivory, leave the lines & chair coves white. It won't look out of place, b/c ivory paper is traditiotanal for these things, and use pink accents if you can, to tie it togheter. This might work if you don't want everything to be TOO matchy.

If you use white, that's fine too, it may look a little less formal , but will go with the pink & white theme.
