NWR: Can anyone recommend a cleaning service?
I've given up trying to clean my apartment. I'm obsessive about things being really clean, but funny enough, I'm really awful at cleaning things myself. I never realized that you're supposed to sweep before you mop, so I'd always get cat hair on the mop (lovely, right?). But of course, I can't sweep either and I'm tired of spending my weekends cleaning for 4 hours what would take a normal person 1 hour So, FH says I can have a cleaning person especially since I'm having ankle surgery tomorrow and won't be able to do anything for a while. Yay!
So, do any of you have a cleaning person? What do they do and approximately how much do they cost? Thanks!

Molly Maid, cleaning company in Long Island. Look them up or call information for their number. I don't think they are expensive.

I pay somone to come in 1 time a month to do all of the stuff I hate and just maintain it. She charges 10.00 per hour iff the books and does a great job. she will basically do whatever you need- bathroom tile walls, stove, fridge etc. ETA- she works locally in my neighborhood in queens and is cheaper then a service as the $$$$$ goes directly to her.
