Does Color of Cake Have to Match Centerpiece Colors and Vice Versa???

The cake has the colors of pink with some lavender. Bride bouquet is red. BM dress color is red and flower will be white. Now should the reception centerpieces match the cake or keep with the colors of red? Please Advise. Thanks.

I think you should try to coordinate the colors with your flowers and reception centerpieces, but it's all personal taste.

I would attempt to add a dash of a similar color so that it is woven throughout the affair. But matching to the cake....I hope that is not necessay b/c mine doesn't match at all!!! : )
