If so, did you book anything yet? I only booked the reception. Should i make a move on it?

I am so excited!!! We still have a while to go!

So far I have booked the church, reception location, florist, photographer, and videographer. I wanted to book early to have my pick of whoever I wanted and I did :) I am having my engagement party in August! YAY! I would suggest getting the main ones booked like hall, video and photo and then you can go at a slower pace. I booked my florist already because I am flower crazy. Usually you don't have to book the florist until 6-9 months before. Some of the florists who only do weddings book up quickly. I am here if you have any questions.

So far we booked the church, reception, and we sign a contract this Sat for photo (we're not doing video) Over the summer we'll start looking for band/dj and then a florist. I want e/t booked and out of the way by the end of the year b/c come Jan we're going to start house-hunting. So we're trying to get e/t done sooner rather than later and I can't stand having to rush to do things!

we booked our reception hall, our church, our band, photographer, florist (almost I've narrowed it down, should know by next week). I got my dress picked my BM's dresses, my FG dress.
By july I'm hoping to have my video and limos done. We wanted to book everything early too so that we would have time to add small details that would make that day more personal!

so far i booked church, reception, phot, video and i have my dress! going to start looking for a d.j this month and booking limos next month.

We have the hall, church and photographer/videographer booked. The next thing we want to book is the florist and band/dj (by September). After that I think I'll start looking for my dress and the BM dresses.
FH and I are really slow with doing all this planning. It took us a year to book a hall! I just want to take my time to book the right vendor etc.

Wow I need to get a move on because i feel that I have so much time. You are right, I know what I want so I should be booking early. I just thought that it was too early, now i know based on the replies....thanks alot let the booking begin....

KimberlyBride I booked the reception at Woodbury CC, I want to go with a band rather than a dj. I was going to see if the Strings are available. As for photography I am going to give 12night a call and check them out but a friend of mine referred me to Angelica Studios (so I don't know about that eihter). I don't know now that I think about it I need to start making some phone calls.

Any suggestions?

I'm an October Bride! We booked the church, hall, and Band/DJ. We are working on photo/videos and limos.

We booked the hall and the church already. Tonight we are going to look at photographers! It's so exciting. It's nice to have time to plan all this stuff and get everythign out of the way. Although I have second guessed myself already!! Oh well, I guess that comes with the territory!

I don't have any recommendations for bands. I am having a DJ. As far as flowers I loved Flower Michele and booked with John the day I met him. I visited Jack and Rose, In Full Bloom, and Sharon from Designer Florals and John at Flower Michele blew my FH and I away. His designs and the time he spends with you was really great. One of the other florists I went to see was cheaper but very pushy and trying to sell himself too much. And I haven't seen any limos companies yet. Hope this helps!
