After 1 year, Wedding Cake still yummy!
We just celebrated our 1st year anniversary and our wedding cake was just as tasty as on our wedding day.
Thought I would share how I stored my cake for a year:As soon as possible after your wedding, put your cake in tupperware that is about the size of the cake and then wrap aluminum foil snugly around the tupperware (I did two layers of foil) and put in freezer.
To defrost, just take the foil wrapped tupperware out of the freezer and put in refrigerator for 2-3 days prior to when you want to eat it.
P.S. we had a chocolate cake with rasberry fruit filling and buttercream icing that came from Audrey's Bakery. Our cake survived the the Blackout of 2003 too.
