Friday Fun: Favorite Sesame Street memory of all time

OK, I am big Muppet fan and I LOVED Sesame Street -- In fact, on cable I sometimes see a classic skit that I remember growing up.

What are your favorite skits/songs/characters/memories

Mine would be Ernie and Bert sharing pizza and grape juice -- Bert has less than Ernie, so Ernie keeps eating his pizza till Bert has more. Then Ernie gets mad because Bert now has more and eats his too.

Classic stuff

Ernie and Bert and Cookie Monster were my favoriites!! and C is for Cookie was the best song

I LOVE BERT AND ERNIE!!!!!!

I don't remember specifics but this was my favorite scene....

Bert on a roof top dancing and singing "Doing the pigeon"

Just thinking about it makes me laugh!

my favorite was grover, but my most vivid memory of laughing was when bert and ernie are fishing and ernie catches more fish by calling 'here fishy fishy fishy, here fishy fishy fishy' and all the fish jump into the boat. i love that!!

Does anyone rememeber that book- "There's a Monster at teh End of the Book" with grover- he keeps trying to stop you from turning the pages, but of course the only monster at the end of the book is loveable, furry Grover.

I was a big Count fan. But my favorite song was the one when they counted to 12.

I started writing it out but it's just numbers. "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12" You know the one I mean, I'm sure.

Remember when Bert had a purple hand and he covered it with Ernie's grandmothers shawl?

Remember when Ernie was sculpting a statue of Bert and he didnt have enough clay so he took off Bert's nose!?!?!?

my dad told me this really cute story that when ever he measures something he sings 'one two three, four five six...the ladybugs twelve at the ladybug picnic' to himself. i think that is so sweet.
