marriage license questions
Okay, we're getting married in two weeks and still haven't gotten our license! When I look at different websites, there are different prices listed. Can someone who got their license in NYC tell me how much it cost and someone who got their license in LI tell me how much it cost? Also, can you use a license obtained in NYC for a Nassau County wedding? It's easier for FH and I to get the license in the city on a lunch break than it is for us to do it on LI. TIA!

You can get it and use it anywhere in NY. It cost me $40 in Hempstead.

We got our license on Friday at the town hall in Hempstead - no wait. Cost $40. In NYC, I think it is $35.
