A little sad....need to vent..a bit long

Hello girls...I feel like I need to vent...I think I have been a pretty easy going bride for the most part. I am planning my wedding from out of state, and all but 1 of my BM's live out of state from me. I have only seen my MOH once since I have been engaged (a little over 6 months ago), she lives a long plane ride away, and due to limited vacation time for the wedding, I have not been able to visit her, and she has not been able to come home.
I know my shower is coming up in the next month or 2, so I e-mailed her the other day to see if she would be around for the weekend of my shower, so we would be able to hang out.
She mentioned that she would be in for my shower, but since she would only be in for the weekend, she would want to see her family (her family lives in another state from my shower...about 4 hours away). Now....I totally understand that she would want to see her family, but I just guess that I am a little sad because she is my MOH, and I have not seen her in 6 months. She was home for a week about 6 months ago and her parents have been out to visit her about 3 times since then. I just wish that we would be able to hang out more while she was in town, becuase I know there will be about 50 people at my shower, and I dont think that I will really be able to spend any time with her at it. I also feel that I will proabalby only see her for my batchelorette before my wedding...so sorry, but needed to vent...

am I totally out of line for feeling this way? (I would never say anything to her about it becuase it is her family)

I understand, My MOH lives only a few towns( about 20 minutes away) and I havent seen her once since I've been engaged, same with one BM...It just happens that way, try and get away for a few minutes the day of the shower to talk to her quietly...It's the best you can do I guess?

Hopefully your friend will be able to come to the bach party. It really stinks that you two are so far apart from one another. Do you talk regularly. I feel bad that she won't even be able to stop and get coffee. Maybe you could both meet halfway on whatever day over the weekend you won't be having the shower. I would definitely be let down if my MOH couldn't make it to my shower. Feel Better.
