Poll- what band did you pick for your wedding and why?

We went with Kameleon. Band leader is Lou- he is incredibly patient. Also very reasonable- 6700 for nine pieces with cocktail hour.

Channel One with cmcmusic in Westchester. Reason is because our first band estentially broke apart. They have been okay to work with so far. They are not discussed often on this board a lot so I'll be sure to post a review.

Code Bleu- Skyline orchestras. They were very personal and we loved they music and energy they had when playing. The are a 8 piece band and we add the trumpet player they cost $5250 with cocktail hour. We are meeting with them tonight about the music for our wedding and I can't wait.

Heart and Soul from Franklin Wayne Music. I heard them at 2 expo's and signed them on the spot. 5500 for an 8 piece band. We got a discount bc my FH is in the NYPD.

After Midnight... They are the best wedding band I have seen, saw them at a friends wedding and knew I had to have them. Then went to their showcase and was reaffirmed, they are amazing.

We had such a hard time choosing between Ken James Orchestra and Faze 4 . My sister had Ken James (Bruce was her band leader, he is one of the owners) and was AWESOME. They really made the wedding wonderful. We saw Faze 4 at a friend's wedding and thought they were incredible as well. We only chose Faze 4 because my sister had Ken James & our family had already seen them. Both are definately worth the money, very professional, and very talented.

J/K...My FH's family has used them for many major occasions...We didn't really even consider anyone else.

NYC Swing

We saw so many bands and they were the best. They are so incredibly talented and they have a style that is not like your typical wedding band.

Daybreaks Night - They played at my sister's wedding and were AMAZING! As soon as we booked our date, we booked them. We didn't even want to look at any others!

NYC Swing

We saw so many bands and they were the best. They are so incredibly talented and they have a style that is not like your typical wedding band.

We used NYC Swing as well. 12 pieces for reception and also got an excellent cocktail hour trio with standup bass. We initially went them because we liked what we heard, got along well with Dore, and they are very willing to negotiate, based on price, number of musicians, location, and your wedding date.

Great musicians with a varied repertoire. We stuck with classics, swing, standards, etc, but they will play most anything.

Liked the sound - the fact that they weren't the shmoozy typical wedding band...plus, they are all professional musicians during the day, playing on Bway, backup singers for J.Lo

actually the singers for J.Lo (ha ha)
And they worked on the price & # of pcs/ we could afford...

Faze 4 - The Next Faze....we saw them and we both got goose bumps they were so incredible. Worth every penny we spent...and it was pricey!

We picked Moonlight Silhouettes. They're from the company Stolen Moments. We saw the original Stolen Moments at a bridal showcase and fell in love. Unfortunately they were booked for our date. We went to another showcase for their other top band and they were awesome and $1000 cheaper. We also booked our ceremony and CH music from them so we got a pretty good deal. We got a classical trio for the ceremony, calypso band for CH, and 8 piece band for the reception- all for $5500.
