Going crazy at work!!! Wanna call out sick tomorrow!!

Any suggestions on what I should say? I'm in my FSIL's wedding on Saturday..most of my co-workers know this. Been playing up the 'sick' thing all day. Wonder if they'll buy it???

Nope..have no days left. I have 2 weeks vacation (using for the wedding) and 2 personal (used during the snow storms). That's it!! My job sucks!

Wellll....If they know your sister's wedding is Sat., they will probably assume you are getting ready for that. But, what can they do!

You know I was at a conference a few years back and the keynote speaker said that we should all call in 'well' once in a while....just call the boss say 'I woke up this morning, I feel great and so I'm taking a WELL day!' You give that a try...let me know how it works out for you

StepherG, I hear your pain .. after my wedding/HM in August, I will only have ONE PAID TIME OFF DAY remaining until the end of the year!

So I think I'll be 'calling in well' now and again just for sanity ...

I say GO FOR IT tomorrow and call out .. noone has to REALLY know why (except your LIWs friends of course.. and our lips are sealed )

I was in my BF;s wedding on a Sunday..I tried to get thru my Thurs. and my supervisor sent me home..shes like 'you really arent feeling well r u?'...I left early Thurs,went to DR. and went in late Friday then went off to rehearsal Fri. Night. My antibitotics worked great and for Sunday I felt great..my point is YES you can get sick b4 a wedding and I was scared I was gonna miss it...Turned out it was sinusitus and boy, it HURT!!
Keep us posted and let us know what your gonna do..
