a great gift idea for parents...
For Father's Day my son's fiance-to-be gave us a beautiful leather-bound copy of the NY Times from the day of our wedding. It is an amazing gift. It's even more special than the day someone was born because there are events in it that we actually remember. We were married the day after a blizzard in NY. There's an article and pictures. Also it was fun to read the TV section as well as the advertisements and the house ads. I have no idea what it costs to get this, but it's a gift we loved receiving.

I did "New York Times" & "Birthday" on google.com
On the right side popped up some of these.
ETA: Don't feel dumb, I looked through 7 pages before I realized there were some options on the right hand side of the page that had our answer
