Went to Fox Hollow...(updated with 2 pics)
I went to a friend's wedding this weekend at the Fox Hollow and figured I'd give some feedback. The place is beautiful! The ceremony was inside. It was very simple and quick (only like 15 minutes long). The cocktail hour was VERY good. Nice selection and displays. Food was very good. I forgot which room the reception was in (I'll try to find out). It was very nice. They had over 170 people I think and there was plenty of room. The dance floor is very long and tended to have more people down one end. Guests also had an opportunity to hang out in the courtyard which was nice, but at times made the reception room look very empty. The centerpieces were done by the in-house Florist- they were beautiful! I don't have my pictures here, but I'll try to post a couple later. The only complaint is that the actual dinner servings seemed small (salad and entrée) and, when asked, would not give out any 'seconds'. The food was really good, though. The full vienese was very good (wow so many desserts!) but took up the entire dance floor. The wedding cake (yellow cake w/cannoli filling) was not good (dried out) but the rest of the desserts more than made up for it.
The DJ- Body Rock- was very good, not 'in your face' (which I like), played exactly the types of music the Bride and Groom wanted, and gave out really cool give-a-ways (like hats, bead necklaces, funky sunglasses, glow necklaces, etc.).
I don’t really know all the other vendors, but I have to say that she looked beautiful and her makeup stayed great all day!

Re: Went to Fox Hollow...
THank you so much for posting. I am surprised that they wouldn't give seconds when the menu specifically states that the guests are entiled to seconds. Geesh... I may have to look into this.

Hi there - I actually just had my wedding at the FH on 3/28/04, and our guests were allowed as many entrees as they wanted! Mel David was our original banquet manager, and this was one of the key points he stressed about the reception dinners.... One of our guests had thirds! Curious that it wasn't 'allowed' at this wedding you were at? Well, glad to hear you enjoyed it! :)

oh yeah - and about the cake - Ours was anything but dried out, and was absolutely delicious..... Did you attend an evening wedding? Maybe it was sitting out for too long or something??

Re: Went to Fox Hollow...(updated with 2 pics)
I can't imagine why people would ask for seconds or thirds, they serve so much food during the Cocktail hour!! I had so many guests tell me that they ate so much they almost did not have room for the entree.Welcome New Vendors
