Where can my mother look for gowns that specializes in EVENING GOWNS?

She really does not want to buy a gown from a bridal salon....I do not know why. And she refuses to go to a place like Estelles, so I need help. She wants a place that is like boutique, but not for wedding dresses. If anyone can help, I know you girls can! And she specifically requested I ask all of you

Off hand I don't know any places. Did you try looking for boutiques online or in the phone book?

Why not try Bloomingdale's or Nordstroms.

In Syosset right across from North Shore Hospital there is a dress boutique, what about Cache in the mall?

There's a place in Patchogue, I think it's called Sophisticated Lady...?
My mom got her gowns for mine and my sisters weddings there

My mom got her dress from Entoto Couture on Northern Blvd. in Great Neck. They have a great selection.

I would suggest Saks and Nordstroms - My mom got hers at Nordstroms but they also carried the same dress at Saks

My mom got hers at Blanchees in East Rockaway. They had a great selection. Hope this helps!

Check out Sugarplum in Lynbrook on Merrick road. They're entirely evening gowns. Also, there are places on Middle Neck Road in Great Neck and also on Central Avenue in Cedarhurst.

The 2 that I know of are Sugarplum on Merrick Rd in Lynbrook and Totally You on Merrick rd. in wantagh

A perfecrt palce for evening wear and MOB is Ivory and Co. on New Dorp La in Staten island. I know it's quite adrive, but they had really amazing stuff for MOB and they were really so helpful...

My mom got hers at Dorothy Walsh on Main Street in Northport. It's a little boutique.

My mom got her dress in Woodbury Commons. There were 3 stores we looked at there- Mirabella, Boutique Elle and a place right next to Boutique Elle (I can't remember the name of the place off hand.) All the places had dresses that were made to order. Once she selected a dress, she was then able to pick the color from their swatches. FM me if you need more specific information.
