GETTING MARRIED SEPT 4, 2004 - Wyndham Wind Watch Hotel Sold!!

I happened to be reading Newsday yesterday when I ran across an article that the Wyndham Wind Watch Hotel has been sold.
(For all of you Hamlet girls - no worries - they are seperate entities).

No one told me anything! I had to call them! And they have little to no information. No one even knows what the hotel will be called!

I spoke with the director of sales and was told that my contract would be honored but that they could not make any guarentee's about staff, service, food, etc... The hotel is going to be called a new name within 40 - 70 days. So what do I tell my 400 guests who have invitations for a reception at the Wyndham Wind Watch Hotel?

I have a meeting with the Hotel management on Friday - I also have calls out to other catering facilities. I have a feeling I may be out of luck!

omg!! this is horrible!! I am so sorry!! I would read over your original contract really well and see if there is anything addressing this potential situation that has occurred.
