What was the strangest thing that happened at your wedding?

I won't go into any of the 'negatives' that happened, but as for the WEIRD...

my makeup artist actually...audibly f*rted while he was doing my makeup...

Most comical was our priest - during the picture taking at the reception hall he was standing behind some glass doors making faces at us! Must of looked a bit strange to anyone that didn't know he and DH had been friends for a several years!!! LOL

Another "wierd" occurance - I found out later that DH told our Limo driver to come on into the cocktail hour, that we had plenty of food! She did, and signed our guest book with her name, and "the limo driver". She was very sweet so it was a fun touch.

My BIL's girlfriend, who is very strange anyhow, .... her pantyhose feel around her knees and she did not notice while she was dancing!!! ( I swear she is a man! she did not feel them falling? I thought your hips were supoosed to help keep them up!)

I found out a few weeks later that my engaged friend was hookin up with our best man in OUR bathroom !!!

one of the bridesmaids and one of the groomsmen "got lost" at the hotel at the after party and were missing for a few hours....
caused quite a bit of trouble actually....

My father told everyone at the bar that my friends date ( a gay guy) was the man from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and people asked him for his autograph.

I pulled up at the church before the bus we had hired for our out of town guests, so we had a few minutes of waiting outside. when it finally did show up, I was ready to go, but the rolls driver came over to my window and said Apparently we're still waiting for a coach to tell the English people what to do. I thought for a minute--what is he talking about! THen I realized that my BIL, who is English, had told the driver they had been waiting for the coach--meaning the bus!!! It did make me laugh, though!

My best friend, who is always so rational, got really wasted--she was absolutely hilarious. While washing her hands in the ladies' room, she accidently broke the handle off the sink. Of course, being as drunk as she was, she thought that everyone would think it was so funny when she pulled it out on our first anniversary.

This table filled with my mom's friends and relatives kept laughing really loud during the reception. I thought they were having a good time. Apparently, they were going around the table telling dirty jokes throughout the whole reception!

My dad's classic car that we used as our limo for the day got a flat tire in the parking lot of the hotel after he dropped my husband and I off. He and my mom had to ride home (45 minutes away) in the front seat of a flat-bed truck!!

Ummm.. besides someone's date, who we never met before getting so drunk she passed out in the ladies room... I'd have to say- ME dancing on the table! I had so much fun, I want to do it all again!

One of my BM's and SIL got up and started dancing on their chairs...before you knew it the whole place was dancing on their chairs, including me and DH.
And we had a mosh pit towards the end of the evening.
Obviously a lot of alcohol was flowing.

Priest forgot to tell us to kiss!!! We had to do it right at the end so we could get a picture!!!

Oh yeah, I have a picture of one of teh groomsman's rears on my table camera, and another got so drunk, he thought it was a pay bar and paid of $200 in tips to the bartender!
Same groomsman that threw up in the CB bathroom, on his reantal tux and in the car service on the way home as he tried to take out the Indian driver....loads of fun....ooh, I left out the part where he decided to fill up my chinese take out favor boxes with the main course beacsue he thought they were there to bring home as doggie bags/boxes for teh 6 course meal....

I am sitting here thinking and nothing really comes to mind.....well the priest (DH's uncle) didn't say now you may kiss your bride...nothing really out of the ordinary at the reception that I know of

Not really weird, but funny. I was waiting to see a peacock so badly that when I finally saw one, I hiked up my dress and ran after it, and I think the photographer got pics of me creeping up on it.

Our ringbearer, DH's nephew who is almost 5 yrs old, was so tired that he practically passed out on one of the couches in the Library at WM. It was the funniest thing to walk in there and see him face down on the couch with his ringbearer pillow. People came and went in there and he never flinched. They had to carry him out at the end of the night.

The DJ announces that there is a phone call for me during dinner.... I'm thinking maybe one of our groomsmen who didn't make it called. So he says.. "Um, Valerie, there is a phone call from Ann at Funeral Directors Choice, she has a first call on the line for you." (This is our answering service, and the day of my wedding would normally have been my night on call!) I look to the back of the room, and my 2 tables of coworkers & my boss are hysterical!! Funeral director humor!!

The DJ makes an announcement for me to come to the dance floor. Again.... I'm thinking someone special showed up late maybe! And from behind there are these huge hands on my sholders. Goofy showed up at my wedding!!! I am a huge Goofy fan (collect tons of it for years now!!) & my mom hired him to come to my wedding! The guy who was supposed to do it backed out, so God bless my sisters boyfriend, he dressed up & danced for 15 minutes in theis costume!!
