matron of honor

okay, is anyone or has anyone you have known had their mother as thier matron of honor? I like the idea, my mother and I are best friends.. what are you thoughts?

my mother is my best friend also... we are so close but she is the MOTHER OF THE BRIDE so i am going to keep it like that... tehy already are very special

they are the most important of them all!

I like the idea if you don't have someone else in mind. It's a special title to give someone and if you feel your mother is the best person to have that 'honor' then go for it.

If you want your mother as your MOH then go for it... she will already play a spcial role as the 'mother of the bride'... but if you want her as your MOH as well then go for it...

I think the Mother of the Bride is already a very special role, but I think making her the Matron of Honor is a beautiful idea! If you can't think of anyone else you'd rather have than she should have both titles.

I had my mom as my matron of honor. She was so honored, and to be honest there wasn't anyone in the world I would have wanted up there with me except her.
