Reheasal dinner restaurant ideas
I'm in search of a good restaurant in Suffolk county - not too far from the Watermill to hold the rehearsal dinner. Any ideas will be much appreciated. Thanks!
25 days to go! Yay!

Re: Reheasal dinner restaurant ideas
There is a great post about this on the 04 Brides board that lists many of the restaurants the brides are using, a number from Suffolk County.

Thanks for the ideas ladies!
StepherG - I'm doing great!!! It's so cool meet another Watermill bride. What room are you using? We'll be in the Vanderbuilt for the reception. If the weather is not too hot, we'll have the ceremony outside.
We had our final at the Watermill this past week and they made me feel so at ease. We even got to meet the chef that will be on staff for our wedding reception - he gave us really good menu ideas.
My planning is pretty much done - All I need to focus on now is me - my hair, my jewelry, etc.
How are you doing?

Tutto Pazzo in Huntington - they have a back room that is private with access to the garden.

Re: Reheasal dinner restaurant ideas
We had our rehearsal dinner at Cafe Figaro (owned by Mama's restaurant) in Centereach. The prices were good, the food was great, and the service was great. The amount of food they give you is unreal! Here is a link to their website...Mama's .
They have a private room and a garden room (I think that's what its called). We used the garden room, it was still open but had high walls around the area with plants along the top of the walls for extra privacy. We had 20 ppl.
Good luck!
ETA: It is located right near the intersection of Middle Country Rd. and Holbrook Rd.

I'm in the Astor room...also not sure if we'll do the outdoor cocktail hour or not. It's so hard to tell about August weather. It could be really humid and gross...Or nice...who knows!! I am going to the Watermill to finalize on Thursday night. I can't wait. We are definitely getting the chocolate fountain!!
I'm done planning too. I'm just doing seating charts and place cards now!! Wow...its so close!!

Garde Grille or Long Island Grill. We prefer the Garden Grille.

Re: Reheasal dinner restaurant ideas
I live right in the area, so here are some that I frequently dine in and love:Italian
Ciao Baby in Commack on Jericho turnpike....it is outrageous! Delicious, authentic italian food with a very manhattan martini bar flair.
La Famiglia in Smithtown on Main Street...very good, family style italian.
American/Grill
Garden Grill -- on main street in Smithtown it's very pretty and victorian inside.
Red Dish -- on Jericho tpke in Commack. Delicious, unique dishes, and very trendy, sleek and modern decor. Great drink specials also.
Seafood
H2O on Main st in Smithtown. One of the best, most gourmet seafood restaurants you'll find, with very modern, minimalist decor.
Hope these suggestions help, and let me know if you want more info....
