Off to join Ladies Workout Express!
So I am going tonight! Wish me luck! I just ate a mini bag of potato chips to make sure I would have something to work off....

We didn't have the weighted hula hoop! Someone here at work was just saying they have it at the St. James one and it works well. All in all I thought it was good--I was sweating, and certainly felt it, though I am not sore today. She said I should definitely notice an improvement in inches in a month if I go three times a week. But, when she weighed and measured me she did say, 'You could stand to lose a few...' I was like, well, yeah, I am here, aren't I!? I hadn't even felt that bad about my weight though, I just wanted to tone up for the HM...

Can you join for one month at a time?
Definitely ask! I joined for 6, until the wedding. My friend joined for 6 but is over it now and they are letting her do month to month now. It was great though, we (my work friend and I) were the only ones there last night!

I joined for three months.
What did they charge you? They charged me $25 for 6 mos, but I wonder if it would have been more had I done less. Thanks!

They charged me $40 a month for three months. I had to pay it all up front. You got a great deal!

Is Ladies Workout Express similar to Curves? I wanted to join Curves, but I don't like the 149 activation fee. I think that's ridiculous.

Definitely check out the Ladies Workout Express then. No activation fee. I think it is usually $30 a month at mine if you sign up 6-12 mos. Mine was $25 because I got an employee discount from where I work.

This is the third day in a row that I went and I still don't feel sore. I hope I am doing everything right and using enought reistance.

I went Tues-Thurs this week, and definitely feel it in my calves. I think it is from the step things between the stations--there are no weighted hula hoops or jump rope at those areas at mine, so I mostly just jog up to the step, which makes my calves hurt. I really wanted to feel it in my thighs though, since they are my problem area. My FH is disbelieving about how this works when you can't change the weights or resistance of the machines...Maybe next week I will see if I lost any inches yet

Ok girls, wish me luck. I'm going to join today and I am bringing my 16 year old cousin with me because she can go for free for the summer. I'm totally psyched. I'll let you know how it goes.

Re: Off to join Ladies Workout Express!
I haven't felt it yet other than the black and blues I got form the weighted hula hoop. No one warned me. The girl told me to wait for the bruising to go a way for starting up on it again.
