What kind of shoes are you wearing?

I wear flipflops 24/7, never take them off (not even in the snow) and my FH thinks its not right if I dont wear them for the wedding. But my mom is flipping out saying that its just wrong. I really dont care, I think flip flops will be cute and comfy, afterall there is no way I will last in heals all day.

Is anyone not wearing regular shoes?

ETA: Here is a pic of my favorite shoes ever! They are so comfy and cute

I wear flip flops all the time too!!

I am thinking of getting a pair of 'glass' slippers for the ceremony and some bride sneakers for the reception

You have to wear what's comfortable. Maybe get a nice shoe for the ceremony then wear the flip flops for the reception. You're getting married in November no? It might be chilly outside.

I'm waering heels for the wedding but I got white flipflops with beading on them for the reception. They had cute ones at Aldo.

Wear whatever is most comfortable and whatever is most you.

I am wearing a pair of dance shoes (Sandals), suede on the bottom, in a 2 1/2 inch stilletto heal. This is definitely my stule, which is why I am wearing them.

Hey, fellow Californian! Why don't you buy some of those kitten-heel flip-flops? I keep seeing them in all the Shoe Pavilions. Also I saw some fancy kitten-heel thong shoes with rhinestones that I thought about buying for the wedding. Then you can tell your mom you're wearing 'real' shoes even though they're flip-flops.

I'm wearing flats b/c I laways wear them, they are so comfy, and my FH is about the same height as me (and I don't want to tower over him) I say wear the flip flops, if your mom is really upset - jazz them up with some rhinestones

aren't they great- i get them at Diane's! i wear the black ones all the time too...they are so soft.

As for the heel for the reception, I made that compromise with my mom, but FH was mad -- i dont know why he cares so much, lol
