This girl was getting married,and they decided not to have a wedding party BUT each person that was very close to the bride and groom about 6 men and 6 woman, each handed her a rose on her way down the aisle and that made up her bo-k.. It sounds pretty, but I've never heard of it.. a friend of mine told me about it

I saw that on A wedding story. As a matter of fact the bride was the host of trading spaces. Wendy Paige i think is her name.

we've decided not to have a wedding party because some of the girls will be pain the asses.. lol.. but I thought that would have been so sweet, and so different.. hmm.. I wonder if it would take too long

It looked pretty the way it was done. They were standing at different spots along the aisle and handed her the flower as she passed them. She took about a second to give them a kiss etc. Some of the people were really old it just had a lot of sentiment behind it and it showed through the 'camera'. It didn't seem to take long at all.

I'm doing this also. I saw this on A Wedding Story and stole it for myself.

I only chose a MOH because most of my closer friends are already married with kids.

So to honor close family and friends, I'm collecting a rose from each which will signify their special place in my life. I'm probably collecting about 15 total.

I'm actually having a REAL bo-k for pictures, and will then use the gathered flowers for the bo-k toss (which I'm also doing differently).

I think it is a very cute idea. I have seen girls add two roses or beautiful flowers in their bouquet and give one to their mother and one to the grooms mother.

Actually now that she is married her name is Mindy Paige Paige !!!!

I saw her wedding too and thought that it was a very sweet idea.
