As a wedding guest, what would you prefer to receive?

We are set to do the cd's as favors, but I was talking with a friend and started talking about favors. I don't know, I started re-thinking our favor.

I donate to St. Judes every year and I was just thinking this $$ I was going to use on the cds could go to a better cause.

i gave CD's as placecards for the engagement party. something different for the gift.

I would do the donation.. i love st. judes, and I think it's very thoughtful and your guests will think it's a very thoughtful thing to do as well.

I am doing a donation and a box of candy.

I like the idea of donations and I would do the donation with something else small, whether it be the CD or candy or anything else you can think of.

I voted both... it is great to donate money but still give the guests something to take home to remember your celebration by...

I voted the cd & the donation. I would definetly stay away from the wine stopper. The last 2 weddings & bridal shower I went to had wine stoppers as the favor

What am I going to do with all these stoppers?And I already had a bunch of them to begin with!

ETA: The one I got from the shower was great because it was a pourer (whichavoids dripping) & a stopper in 1. That was very useful!

Definetly the donation with a small token gift. I went to FI's cousin wedding in May and she printed up scrolls to explain the donation along with tiny wine glass candles. It was cute and meaningful.

i like the donation idea i think its very nice. i did one but i also gave a favor away that my mom purchased for us

I like the idea of the donation..that to me is a great idea. Maybe you can also do the CD or a small token (candy etc) for the guests to remember the day by....

I like the donation, but a lot of people like to go home with somehting in their hands.. My sister gave out perosnalized CD's as one of her favors and it was sucha HUGE hit..peopel are still talking about it and asking for extra copies!

I personally feel the donation is the most unselfish thing you could do, it's for a good cause

i would rather a wine stopper or a CD.......i got a custom made CD and because FH and i are such mushballs, we loved it!

We already got the stuff to make CDs and it really is not too expensive!! If you could handle it, I think the CD and a donation would be awesome!

well i guess i have to answer wine stopper , since that is what i choose to give my guests..

I agree the CD's are not expensive but I like the donation idea..I choose not to do it, but I think that in the end it's something I would not ' keep in a closet somewhere' ya know?? It's worth every penny so to speak..
