NWR but have you heard....

of anyone getting preggo using a condem which she claims never broke. I just found out this weekend my girlfriend is due in December and that is what she said happens...which makes me kind of nervous because that is all my FH and I use.....

I haven't heard of it from anyone I know, but I am sure it is possible if they were messing around beforehand and there was any pre-stuff...Also, even if they put the condom on inside-out, then had to put it the right way...There might have been residual on the outside (I have read about that happening). I would go on the pill as a second form of protection...

I don't know anyone this has happened to but I know it's possible. Most likely it was the fooling around before the condom went on that got her in trouble. And of course, the condom may have been defective.

Yup, it happened to someone very close to me. Remember, condoms aren't 100% effective, nor do they claim to be.

Yes, I did. And didnt you see Friends when Rachel tells Ross she is pregant? He finds out its not 100% and yells 'THEY SHOULD PUT THAT ON THE BOX' (they do)

I always knew they were not 100% effective but always thought that was because of holes, breaking, etc....this girl claims that never happened with her and her husband and they just found out they were pregnant.....I thought that was a little weird, but I guess it is possible.

Very scary, but I've heard of it happening. I know somebody who got pregnant on the pill, and using a condom! Then you just have to think that God wanted this baby here, and that person was meant to be its Mommy

Definately go on birth control to be extra sure. I'm considering that new seasonal myself so my honeymoon isn't ruined. Does anybody use it?

I am in the medical field and I see it all the time. I also see girls on birth control religiosly and getting pregnant. Nothing is 100% but it is not too common.
