Plus Size MOB

Anyone else have a mom or MIL that is plus size.....My mom is pretty big but she's like me and says'Eh!'....not gonna diet like crazy and I'm glad she's not freaking out over shrinking in time for the wedding

BUT we're having trouble finiding plus size MOB dresses that look appropriate.

So far she wants to wear black but Future huibby thinks that looks depressing.

Its an evening wedding though so im not caring- just worried about maing sure his mom and my mom blend well.

??? What brands offer plus size dresses at a good price ???

I recall hearing a brand called Sugarplum that I believe specializes in plus size MOB

my mom got her dress in RK bridal in manhattan...they have a large variety of larger sizes...and plenty of samples to try on...(she's a 16 though...not sure what size your mom is)

Lord and Taylor has a larger sized formal wear department. I took my future nana there and there were dresses through size 20 or 24 I think. Very nice dresses, and often on sale.

My mom's got that Polish blood and is very big boned! LOL I'll probably take after her and my grandmother so I can say that

Shes about a 22 or 24 I believe.

Definitley try Sugarplum. I took my mom there and she found her dress in 1 hour! They were really helpful there and don't make you feel like size is an issue at all!!

My FMIL went to Queen of Hearts on Merrick Ave in Merrick. She was very happy with their service and they had a lot of MOB (or groom) dresses in a lot of different styles and colors.
