Do U Arrange Makeup trial w/engagement shoot??

I am having my very late engagement shoot with our photographer and was wondering did anyone schedule a makeup trial same day of photo shoot to take advantage of the professional makeup job with pictures, granted that they makeup trial went well.

Any suggestions or did everyone do their own makeup??

I was actually considering doing that, since I'm in the same situation. We're not taking our engagement pictures until the end of summer. I figured I'd schedule a trial in the morning, so I wouldn't have to worry about make-up for the engagement pics.

I did that - I have my engagement pictures in September (about a year to the wedding date) so I scheduled the makeup trial that day. This way I can see how the makeup comes out in the pictures.

I had my makeup trial done for my engagement party.

I did my make-up myself, but I had my hair professionally blown out since I have naturally wavy (FRIZZY) hair.

Yes, I booked my trial right before my engagement photo shoot. My makeup came out great and I booked Jaqueline Nicole right on the spot!

I had my hair blown out but did the makeup myself. I didnt' want very dramatic makeup for the engagement shoot. Also - I was thinking of doing my own makeup so it helped me see what worked and what didn't.
