invitations - mail order

Has anyone ordered their invitations through one of those direct order catalogs? They seem so much cheaper then using a printer. Is the quality the same ? Please let me know if any experiences , good or bad you may have had. Any suggestions for companies would be appreciated also . THANKS !

I am getting my invitations from Evite.com. They are bit pricey but their invitations are beautiful and you can order a sample of the invitation before you order.
Well I asked him to let me know today and he didnt e mail me ( I was out of work today to pick up my dress) Tomorrow morning I will just have to call him.

I ordered my invites through Willow Tree Lane and I was very happy with them. They probably could have been a little thicker, but I didn't really mind that. For all of those mail-order companies, you can call them and ask them to send you samples. And they came in about a week!

I also ordered my invites from them and I was very happy. I had recieved about 7 different mail order catalogs. What I did is look through them all and pick a few invites I liked. Turns out I picked about the same style in each book- so then all i did was compare prices.

Willow Tree was the best for pricing. I ordered the invites, thank yous and also note cards with our names printed on it. The $$ I saved I sprung to have our return address printed on it.

Well worthwhile and I had my invites within 4 weeks of the order! ( If I remember correctly- could have been even earlier!)

I ordered mine through Jaime Lee. I faxed the order form and I got them back within 2 weeks. There were no mistakes! Mine is a Christmas theme invitation and they had the perfect one!! I figured it would take a month, but it didn't. They offered the same invitation as Hallmark and I got it a lot cheaper at Jaime Lee. They are advertised in the bridal magazines. LOL!!:o)

I love the George Washington Manor! I wanted it...until my fiance expanded the guest list on his side :o( Enjoy!
I would suggest talking to him in person. Ask if everything is ok with him. He may be caught off guard. After all, maybe there is more to this than he is letting on. Then tell him that you understand that it may make him uncomfortable to tell you cant come, but you understand...and hope to see him/get together with him after your honeymoon.

I'm stuck with trying to find another BM. So far i have a friend as MOH and ill ask FSIL to be a bridesmaid... but my fi is having his 3 brothers.. and i don't have anyone else i would really want in the wedding party. i was considering a cousin, but shes in Pittsburgh... and is iffy about coming to NY. I told my mom i only want 2, it doesn't have to be even, but shes giving me pressure to make it an even number.... grrrrrr
This time we have lots of time, and a budget to work with. I am researching everything to death and driving my fi crazy because of it.
