Dress shopping places??
Where can I go during the week? I 'm starting to FREAK out about not having a dress...I dont even wanna order one now, because my plan is to lose at least 40 lbs in the next 8 months but as of August I have 7 months to go..no dress!I have gone to David's and think I found my dress there, but I need to go to other places and at least try on some more dresses...so
I am planning on going to Renate's in Lindenhurst...any others in that area...Melville, copiague, lindenhurst, massapequa, etc?

I am about to have a nervous break down about the dress issue! I want to and will kill myself in order to lose at least 40- hopefully 50 lbs before the wedding and If I get a dress now, it would need to be altered like 4 sizes..I dont know if thats possible but I need to order a dress ya know?? Re: Dress shopping places??
why are you putting so much pressure on youself to lose that many pounds, you are going to look beautiful anyways... maybe try losing 20 lbs, you dont want to make youself sick in the process...

I know exactly how you feel, I used to be so think and then I met my hubby moved in together and gained 40 pounds... some people are lucky and can eat anything and still remain thin, but most women once they turn a certain age start looking like a woman not a girl with no shapes and curves...
I would love to lose some of my butt and hips but alas it is very difficult...

Re: Dress shopping places??
I just looked through a lot of different styles on the internet, but did not try any dresses on yet... I think once I book all the majors like photo/video, limos and the church I will start trying on the dresses... I just dont want to do too many things at the same time, I dont want to stress myself too much with running around and stuff... I wish my mom would go with me but she lives upstate so I dont know if she will be able to come down this summer....Welcome New Vendors
