Brides in the final countdown... anyone else fighting with FH?

I don't know if its nerves, exhaustion, or having to write those ridiculous checks we promised to vendors so long ago but FH and I cannot stop bickering. I am being tame when I say bickering. I have been told this is normal. Just wanted to see if anyone else is in the same boat right now.....

I have 3 months or so left and we are fighting a lot more. I know it's all my fault. I am so stressed and I try to make him understand what I am going through but her doesn't get it. He has no idea all the work and energy it takes to plan a wedding, work full time and move into a new place all at the same time. I think I make it look too easy I can't wait for this all to be over

I think my FH hates me. This weekend was all about the wedding. FH is designing the programs, menu and placecards so he's been asking my opinions. I don't want to talk about the wedding for just one day. In the beginning all I used to talk about was the wedding, now when I am weddinged out he wants to talk about the wedding. We are definitely arguing alot more. We both have short fuses now. I can't wait for our honeymoon so we can make up!

It would have been a lot easier if FH and I didn't live together - he would have to see me go through what I have been going through.

Well i made an executive decision and moved to my dad's house last night in long island until the wedding. I wanted to spend time with daddy anyway and this will give FH and I some time apart to remember why we are doing this.

Oh yeah.. Think its definitely all stressed related due to the financial aspect of the wedding. It just started this week, and we have 13 days to go!

you are not alone!! we're stressed about finances (after some unforseen stuff came up at the end) and getting all the little stuff done...

laura...i hear you. it's like you book with them thinking, 'oh sure i'll have the $$$,' and then you don't and who gets the brunt of it? the two of you.
i think its a stressful time and normal to argue a little bit....

Yeah - we are getting marrie don saturday (the day after you!!) and we fought ALL DAY yesterday . . . it didn't help that the night before was his bachelor party, and I was a lot more grossed out by the whoel thing than I thought that I would be. I think we are just both really stressed - especially about the whole money thing (some of you know about what my Mom did to us in that regard). But then, we have those wonderful moments of clarity, you know? Where we look at eachother and just know....know

Is the sky blue? All we do is fight and I am so disappointed in him because I feel like he is not defending me in things with his parents and he is not stepping up to the plate and talking to his parents about $$$ issues.

I think it is normal. I have been 'cranky' which does affect our relationship. FH is pretty good about dealing with it, but when he gets upset with me, I know I have to stop.

It is very common. I remember towards the final months of the wedding preparations my husband and I were definitely fighting over wedding stuff...we had a lot to do at the end and he had his share of responsibilities too - I know we argued over $$$, seating arrangements, rehearsal day activities, anything and everything he was involved in. So hang in there!

Why is that they think that this is so easy???!! Mine always want to know 'what do you have to be stressed about?' WHAT!?!?! I hear it's normal also, but I hope we don't kill each other before it's over - 9 months to go. HELP!

Us too. We are finishing up our mortgage stuff and moving into a new place with 3 mos. til the wedding. And I am starting to resent the fact that he didn't chip in at all for the wedding and I split the whole thing with my mother paying for some. He offered to buy ribbons for our favors and acted like it was some huge contribution and I should be so grateful--he actually said, 'see? it's not like I don't do anything.' AHHHH! AND he wanted to buy me my wedding ring for my birthday!
