Bike Wash for Charity this weekend in Bellmore

A friend of mine owns a motorcycle shop in Bellmore just behind the train station on Grand Boulevard off of Bellmore Ave.....

Sunday, July 26 he will be holding a Bike Wash for charity. For $5 anyone can come & get their motorcycle washed and the proceeds will go to help a local girl named Kirsten. Kirsten has leukemia & has just had an unsuccessful bone marrow transplant. The doctors would like to attempt another donor, but Kirsten's family and health insurance are not able to pay.

The Have a Heart Foundation is sponsoring this event, and there will be a free barbeque and some raffles to try to raise interest and money for Kirsten.

The wash begins at 11, and the name of the shop is PC Custom Cycles.
