I love it. I don't think there is anything wrong with using a picture that you love!

Re: Need Mom's help with thank you pic
What a wonderful picture. I would use it also. There is nothing to say about the traditional smiley thank you's. JMO: times including weddings have changed so much and with the creativity of the photographers, I would go with a photo less traditional.
Go for it! Its absoutly beautiful!

I absolutely love that picture for your thank you---it brought a smile to my face, as I'm sure it will for those that receive it. What a sweet moment between your and your new husband. An aaaaaaahhhh feeling. A traditional more formal picture is boring.

Re: Need Mom's help with thank you pic
I saw it the other day and I didn't respond because although I do love the picture, I don't care for it as a Thank you. Since you are asking once more I will add my opinion, if you don't mind. It doesn't bother me that it's not a more traditional picture. Many posed shots of the bride and groom are overdone and downright boring, but I'm thinking that for many of your guests, the thank you card is the only picture of your wedding they will ever have. Some guests would probably even want to keep it out and show it to others. Everyone loves to see the bride and how she looks in her gown. When you have several other photos of the bride and groom, this by all means is a beautifully romantic shot. When it's the only one of the bride and groom, I would feel cheated because I can't see more. A candid shot of you laughing or looking at each other would work beautifully also as long as I could see more. I'm so sorry but I do have a different opinion than everyone else on this one.

Re: Need Mom's help with thank you pic
I think it is absolutely romantic and if you love it...go for it. For some of those older family members that are more traditional and whom you still wish to please, use a laser printer and print them out another equally wonderful picture. It's a little more trouble, but if it makes that Great Auntie happy, then why not.
